Selena Gomez, an actress and singer who is well-known worldwide. Her involvement has included various projects. However, the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has enjoyed the highest success. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Born on July 22 the 22nd of July, 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Selena's mom was only 16 when Selena was born. When she was 9 the actress got her first gig in show business after she was offered the role of Gianna in Barney and her Friends. This meant she was among several children to play alongside Barney, the well-known Pink Dinosaur, an anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena was a part of the cast for a number of seasons in seasons 7 and 8, from 2001 until 2003. Selena Gomez was not the only singer who sang on Barney And His Friends between 2001 and 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the team too. Selena Gomez tried out for several roles after she left Barney and the Friends, but was not successful. Her role was only a tiny one in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D Game Over) and a different one as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. The film also featured her in the role of Emily Grace Garcia, a role she developed a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
